Support for Grandma's Memorial Service and expenses

AND THIS IS HER STORY:

On Aug 22nd 2022 My Grandma Had A Stroke That Ended Up Putting Her In The ICU After Many Days On A Bullet “Blood Thinner” She Was Released From The Hospital Without The Ability To Talk Anymore. 4 Months Later We Found Out That She Was Also Battling Brest Cancer. After Many Appointments With The Cancer Doctor We Found Out That They Were Able To Remove The Cancer But, Because Of The Stroke We Wasnt Able To Start Surgery Right Away As Her Body Was Still Recovering From The Major Event It Just Went Through “The Stroke” Finally On July 17 2023 Grandma Went Under For Her Brest Cancer Surgery. As Planned Everything Went Well But, It Sure Did Take A Lot Out Of Her. From July 17th 2023 Until January 4th 2025 My Family And I Have All Come Together To Do What We Could To Help Grandma. From Doctor Appointments, Speech Therapy Appointments, Help Around Her House And Anything Else You Can Think Of. As Of June 2024 My Grandmas Strength Become Weaker And Weaker AND Her Ability To Swallow Become Weaker So She Was Put On Thickened Liquids And Puréed Foods. My Mom (From Michigan) Had Been Driving Down Every Week To Take Care Of My Grandma And To Stay Days And Nights With Her As We Were All Getting Concerned About Her Strength And Her Mental State (There Were Signs Of Depression) From July To December My Grandma Still Was Becoming Weaker And Weaker. On Dec 10Th 2024 A Feeding Tube Was Put In Hopes To Get Her Some Extra Nutrition As She Was Becoming Malnourished,On January 3rd 2025 All Her Daughters Come Together To Talk To Her About Going To The Hospital For Some Rehabilitation And They Had Concerns About Her Breathing. As We Felt What We Was Doing Wasn’t Enough To Get Her Strength Back (We Aren’t Therapy Doctors) Finally After Talking With Grandma She Agreed To Go The Hospital She Was Placed In Observation For Her Breathing She Then Was Moved To “In Stay Acute Therapy” On January 4th She Was Sent To The 4th Floor To Start Her New Journey Of Gaining Her Strength Back. After Week And A Half In Acute Therapy SOMETHING MAJOR Went Wrong. My Grandma Went Under A Swallow Test Witch Then Caused Her To Aspirate. Of Course The Aspiration Had Caused Pneumonia. They Moved My Grandma From Rehab To The 5th Floor So They Could Start Medical Treatment For Her Pneumonia. On January 19th 2025 We Was Told The Pneumonia Was Gone And Grandma Was Being Released From The Hospital To The Nursing Home To Finish Out Her Rehab. We All Met Her At The Hospital On January 19th To Pack Up Her Hospital Room And Get Her Ready For This Transfer. Once We Arrived To The Hospital Grandmas Breathing Seemed Very Distressed. We ALL ASKED AND SHOWED CONCERNS About Her Breathing And They Assured Us All Her Vitals Were Good And The Pneumonia Was Gone Around 2:30 PM The Ems Arrived To Take Grandma To The Nursing Home. We All Met Her At The Nursing Home And Got Her Settled In. Grandma Was Showing Many Sings Of Fear And Anxiety So I Decided To Stay Over Night With Her At The Nursing Home To Give Her Some Comfort On Her 1st Night At A New Place. As A Watched My Grandma Sleep Her Breathing Become Worse And Worse. I Was So Scared To Fall Asleep As I FELT Something Was REALLY Wrong And I Would Wake Up To Her No Longer Breathing. That Morning Nurses Come In And I Was So Worried About Her Breathing I Just Started Crying And Screaming “MY GRANDMA WASNT LIKE THIS 2 WEEKS AGO” The Nurses Did Vitals Witch Showed Her Oxygen Decreasing Once Her Oxygen Passed 90 They Put Her On 2 Liters Of Oxygen To Help Her. That Day She Spent A Lot Of Time Sleeping. Nurses At The Nursing Home Were ALSO Showing Concerns As To Why She Was Sent There For Rehab In Such Bad Breathing Condition. They Was Trying Everything They Could Do Keep My Grandma Comfortable. That Night After Shift Change A Agency Nurse Come In To Check On Grandma And She Also Seemed Very Concerned About Her Breathing. She Suggested Grandma Needed To Go Back To The Hospital As There Had To Be Something Else Going On. We DID NOT Want To Send Her Back To Mercy Especially After The Aspiration Incident. So Grandma Agreed To Go To Aultman Hospital. After Getting Into The Hospital They Ran Many Test And Found Out My Grandmas Body Was Filling Up With Carbon Dioxide Her Pneumonia Was Not Gone And She Was In Respiratory Failure My Grandma Was Sent To The 6th Floor Were She Was In Critical Condition And And Fighting For Life Sadly On January 26th 2025 My Grandmas Fight Has Ended And The Lord Had Called Her Home.

My Grandma Did Not Have Life Insurance We As A Family Are Asking For Help For Her Memorial Service And Any Expenses That Need Taken Care Of. I Want To Thank Everyone Who Has Reached Out With Love, Support And Sympathy For Me And My Family. My Grandma Will Be Deeply Missed By SO MANY! Once An Angel On Earth Is Now An Angel In Heaven.
