Support for Grandma Isabel's Family Post-Fire

Hello Friends,

On June 6, 2024, the life of a family very close to mine changed dramatically when they lost their house due to a fire.

Grandma Isabel, who is 87 years old and handicapped, was home alone when the house quickly filled with smoke and caught on fire. Unable to fend for herself and accompanied by her two loyal kittens, Shakira and Messi, Grandma Isabel was trapped by the door, unable to go down the steps, until firefighters arrived to rescue her.

Grandma Isabel survived the fire and was unharmed. Tragically, Messi was found covered in ashes and struggling to breathe but did not make it. Shakira was admitted to the emergency animal hospital, where they were able to stabilize her. She is now in stable condition and under observation.

Currently, Grandma Isabel, along with her family of five, have lost their home and are devastated as the fatal fire consumed all their personal belongings. Unfortunately, their home was not covered by insurance. They are unsure how they will cover any of the costs of the damages and without a home, they are now displaced.

I ask that you please help us support Grandma Isabel and her family during this very difficult time; they need our help more than ever. Any contribution, big or small, willl be profoundly appreciated.
