Over the past six months, Grace has faced losses no one should ever have to endure. In August, she said goodbye to her mom. In October, she lost her dad. And just last night, she lost her brother.

She is now navigating life, motherhood, and grief all at once — carrying her baby on her hip while trying to figure out how to move forward without the guidance, comfort, and support of the people who raised her and loved her most.

Grace has shown a strength far beyond her years, but no one is meant to face this much alone. Any support — whether financial, emotional, or simply sharing this page — will help lighten even a small part of the weight she is carrying right now.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother, father, grandfather, friend, Cory Eugene Heckard who left this world on October 26, 2025, at the age of 56. His passing comes just two short months after the loss of his beloved wife, Tawna Heckard. The two of them shared a deep love and bond that was an inspiration to everyone who knew them. - A love that lasted over 35 beautiful years together.

Cory leaves behind two beautiful children, Zach Heckard, and Gracie Heckard, and one precious grandchild named Ariella that he and Tawna were blessed with and loved so very much. His family meant everything to him, he was a proud father, a devoted husband.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses and to support his children as they navigate life after such unimaginable loss.
