Times have been a bit difficult for our family the last couple of years. My mom aka GMA Nini aka Lynn aka Veronica, was diagnosed with Colon Cancer almost two years ago. Due to a blockage my mom had to have emergency surgery to remove sections of her colon.

Fast forward a year later, my mom had a routine colonoscopy where they found the cancer had came back in another section of her colon. Unfortunately, after a PET scan they found the cancer had also metastasized to her abdominal wall. My mom had surgery which they removed the right side of her colon and attempted to remove the cancer on her abdominal wall. Her surgeon was not able to remove all the cancer from her abdominal area.

My mom started aggressive chemotherapy treatment about a month ago. She had went two weeks in a row for treatment when she became very ill. I ended up taking her to emergency. Her blood pressure was 40/20 and she was in Kidney failure. She immediately went into ICU and they did a fantastic job getting her stable.

My mom has stage 4 terminal cancer. Per her Oncologist, if her body could handle the chemotherapy treatment he gave her 1 year to live. If she chose to stop chemo he gave her 6 to 9 months to live.

My mom chose to not continue chemo and came home from the hospital on Hospice. When my mom came home we just sat and cried and cried and cried! She immediately said we need to get things ready and in order.

So here we are, this is not anything anyone ever likes to do or ask. If anyone can help with donating. If you can’t donate, we are also asking for prayers. We have had so many people ask how they can help or if there is anything they can do for my mom so we decided to do this gofundme. The money will be used to pre-pay for her cremation and service.
