My dad, Glen Ramkawsky, suffered a heart attack on Thursday evening, April 28th. While the doctors are confident that his heart has been repaired, he was without oxygen to his brain for some unknown period of time. He is showing signs of a brain injury, but the severity and prognosis are not yet known. He underwent a hypothermic cooling treatment that concluded last night. We hope to know more in the upcoming days. I will do my best to update here with information. If you wish to reach out to the family, please write here or contact me or one of my brothers. Please also send your prayers. If you know my dad, you know how much he loves the Lord. And he lives his life for other people. He is the best father, husband, co-worker, and friend. He will take anyone fishing, enjoy a Yankee game with you, cook you a meal (if you ever ate at the Fiesta, you probably had his food), fix your plumbing or electrical, help you build a deck or paint your walls, fix your car… the list goes on and on. He is a giving, caring, glass half full eternal optimist. He loves with all his heart and never does anything at less than 100%. He will talk to you (all the way out the door) and give you the best advice if you ask for it.
I know my dad has impacted so many lives and means so much to so many. We love him and are hoping and praying for a miracle.
