My beautiful wife Giselle is an amazing wife, a caring mom, and a hard worker. She had suffered from epilepsy in the past but was seizure-free for two years. While we were traveling to see family for the holidays, Giselle suddenly suffered multiple seizures, and I had to rush her to the ER. Despite the doctors' and nurses' best efforts, her seizures continued, and medication after medication was given with no relief. Eventually, the team agreed to sedate her, which finally brought her some peace. Throughout this ordeal, our family and friends have been praying for Giselle's healing and strength.
The past two weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions, from emergency rooms to the ICU in Riverside, and then being transported to UCSD La Jolla. We've met with neurologists, infectious disease specialists, speech therapists, and neurosurgeons. The days have been overwhelming, but we've also experienced joyful blessings through the support and prayers of our loved ones. I have had to miss work to be by Giselle's side, and the bills are starting to pile up. As a husband, a dad, and a provider, it is difficult for me to ask for help, but I know we can't do this alone.
I'm reaching out to ask for your support—whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing our story. The medical bills and living expenses are a huge obstacle, but I trust that God will provide. Any help you can give means so much to us, and I am truly grateful for your kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may God bless you all.
