This, coupled with the sorrow from the untimely deaths of her two sons—one in a car accident and the other from an untimely passing, has left indelible marks on her heart and her family.

Now, as the sole guardian for her grandchildren—Armani, Aniya, and assisting Victoria with her children Aiden, and Iris—Gina’s role has shifted to one of both grandmother and lifeline. Her disabilities from years of dedicated nursing have not dampened her spirit; instead, they have magnified her resolve to provide a stable and loving home for these children.
