Support for Gilson Kids After Tragic Loss

Anthony Competelli (COMPY) is organizing a fundraising effort to support the family of his dear friends Christina and Josh Gilson, who tragically passed away on New Year’s Day, leaving behind three young children.

Christina Gilson, 43, and Joshua Gilson, 43, of Castle Rock, Colorado, were killed at about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, New Year's Day, in a rollover crash. Two of their children that were in the vehicle with them at the time of the accident, 11 and 16, were moderately injured and taken to the hospital. A family dog that was also in the vehicle at the time of the accident had to be put down due to its injuries.

Directly From The Children: “We decided to start off our 2025 by going to trail with some friends,” the post reads. “On our way there, we got in an accident, and both of my parents suffered from fatal injuries. Kaylee and I are ok but please keep us in your prayers. RIP mom and dad, I love you guys. You will be missed.”

My goal is to honor their memory by providing financial assistance to help ease the burden on the family during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will be directed toward supporting the children’s immediate needs, such as daily expenses, education, and emotional care, ensuring they have the support system they need to move forward.
