Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for all the prayers and love. These past weeks have been a mess I never expected. I started experiencing symptoms that didn’t make sense, and for weeks I had no answers. Children’s Hospital recently diagnosed me with MOGAD, after spending 18 days without a diagnosis, a rare autoimmune neurological disease. While there is no cure, there is treatment, which I am currently undergoing. I am hopeful that with treatment and physical therapy, I will be able to recover as quickly and fully as possible. Many people have asked how they can support us during this time. More than anything, this journey has shown me the love and sacrifice of my mom. She has full custody of me and has stood by me through every appointment, treatment, and difficult moment. This fundraiser is meant to cover my medical expenses.
Above all, I thank God for carrying me through one of the hardest seasons of my life and for guiding doctors to answers, for providing treatment, and for surrounding me with a loving community. I am deeply grateful because it could have been much worse, and I feel blessed for the care, love, and prayers I have received. Thank you again to everyone who has reached out, prayed, and supported me! I’ve also created a Canva slideshow that goes into more depth about my journey, my symptoms, and which I hope will help others understand MOGAD and chronic illness better.

Muchas gracias por todas las oraciones y el cariño. Estas últimas semanas han sido un caos que nunca imaginé. Empecé a experimentar síntomas que no tenían sentido, y durante semanas no obtuve respuestas. El Children’s Hospital me diagnosticó recientemente con MOGAD, después de pasar 18 días sin un diagnóstico, una rara enfermedad neurológica autoinmune. Si bien no tiene cura, existe tratamiento, el cual estoy recibiendo actualmente. Tengo la esperanza de que, con el tratamiento y la fisioterapia, podré recuperarme lo más rápido y completamente posible. Muchas personas me han preguntado cómo pueden apoyarnos durante este tiempo. Más que nada, este proceso me ha mostrado el amor y el sacrificio de mi madre. Ella tiene mi custodia completa y me ha acompañado en cada cita, tratamiento y momento difícil. Esta recaudación de fondos tiene como objetivo cubrir mis gastos médicos.
Sobre todo, le doy gracias a Dios por acompañarme en una de las etapas más difíciles de mi vida, por guiar a los médicos para encontrar respuestas, por brindarme tratamiento y por rodearme de una comunidad amorosa. Estoy profundamente agradecida porque podría haber sido mucho peor, y me siento bendecida por el cuidado, el amor y las oraciones que he recibido. ¡Gracias de nuevo a todos los que se han comunicado, orado y me han apoyado. También he creado una presentación en Canva que profundiza en mi experiencia, mis síntomas y que espero que ayude a otros a comprender mejor el MOGAD y las enfermedades crónicas.
