My father, Gibby Barnett, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 mantle cell lymphoma. This news has been incredibly difficult for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support him through this challenging time. Gibby now faces an 18-week course of chemotherapy, which requires him to travel five hours each way for every treatment. The treatment will make it impossible for him to continue working, adding even more stress to an already overwhelming situation.
After chemotherapy, Gibby will need to take expensive medications to continue fighting the cancer. The costs of travel, medical care, and daily living expenses are quickly adding up, and his family is struggling to keep up. We want to make sure Gibby can focus on his health and recovery without the constant worry of how to pay for the care he needs.
We are reaching out to our community for help. Every little donation helps, and all contributions are greatly appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, we ask that you please share this GoFundMe or send Gibby some kind words of encouragement. Your support means the world to us and will make a real difference in Gibby’s fight against cancer.
