Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of two cherished family members in such a short time. My uncle Ger passed away recently and before we could even begin to mourn his passing, we were faced with another devastating loss, my maternal grandmother passed away just two weeks later.

These past few weeks have been some of the hardest our family has ever faced, and the pain of losing them both so close together is beyond words. About my Uncle Ger: He was caring, funny, quiet and fearless. No matter what he had, he always gave his all to help others. His generosity touched everyone who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
