Georgia Bakalis-Miller is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. At just 46 years old, she was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Georgia is truly one of the most beautiful souls anyone could ever meet. Anyone who knows her, even briefly, would tell you that she is a ray of sunshine in their life. She has a warmth, kindness, and light that naturally makes people feel loved, welcomed and cared for. Above all else, she is an incredibly proud mother to her two beautiful girls, Evangelia (4) and Sophia (2) and a loving wife to her husband, Tom.
This is why this diagnosis feels so unbelievably unfair. It is hard to comprehend how someone with such a huge heart and so much love to give could be facing something so devasting. Yet even through fear, pain, and uncertainty, Georgia continues to show incredible strength and grace.
As Georgia begins treatment, the financial strain is quickly becoming overwhelming. Medical bills are piling up, and the costs of childcare and general daily living expenses are adding to the stress. Our family is doing everything we can to support Georgia, but we know we can’t do it alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden and allow Georgia to focus on her health, her family, and her children.
We are reaching out to our community for support. We ask for prayers, share hope for Georgia’s recovery, and simply invite people to help in any way they can. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference for Georgia and her family during this incredibly difficult time. The road ahead will be filled with challenges, but Georgia’s strength and love for her family continue to inspire everyone around her.
Thank you for standing with us.
