My name is George, and I’m a 49-year-old Navy veteran born and raised in San Diego, California. Recently, my life changed dramatically when I was diagnosed with kidney failure, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Since August 2025, I have been on dialysis three times a week. The treatments leave me tired and weak, and I am facing some of the hardest times I’ve ever known. I was always self-sufficient, but now I find myself needing help just to get by.

I am fighting every day to be here for my children and loved ones. Staying healthy is my top priority, as infections could be deadly for me right now. The funds raised will help me cover medical bills, daily living expenses, and keep my home as sanitary as possible. I also hope to get some clothes for job interviews and an e-bike to help me get around, since walking takes a lot out of me these days. I am determined to keep moving forward, even if it’s slowly, and I am grateful for every bit of support.
