My father, George DeVito, is a hard-working blue collar construction worker who has always put his family first. He loves sports, especially the Yankees and Cowboys, and is an avid bowler. George is a devoted husband, father to three children and two stepchildren, and a proud grandfather—with another grandchild on the way. Until recently, he was in perfect health, living life to the fullest and supporting those around him.

The week before Thanksgiving, our world was turned upside down when George suffered a major stroke in his mid 50s. The shock of this event has rattled our family to the core. George has always been the strong one, the provider, and the person we could all count on. Now, he faces a long road to recovery, and the challenges ahead are daunting for all of us.

We are raising funds to help cover George’s mounting medical bills, ongoing rehabilitation, and to offset the loss of income while he is unable to work.
