My nephew Gavin was in a terrible accident while riding his motorcycle home from work. He was hit and rushed to Rogue Valley Asante Hospital, where they quickly realized his injuries were too severe to treat there. For Gavin to have the best chance of walking again, he had to be airlifted by helicopter to OHSU in Portland.

He was met there by an incredible team of doctors and multiple surgeons. They took him straight into surgery to begin repairing the damage to his legs. It's still a long road ahead, and we’re taking it one step at a time. This GoFundMe is to help support Gavin through what is truly the hardest time of his life— and every family’s worst nightmare. I’ll be posting updates here as we get them, all with the approval of his life partner, Mari, and our family.

Gavin will be facing a long recovery up in Portland, far from his home in Phoenix, OR. We have set the limit at $10,000. This fund will help cover the financial burden of travel expenses, time away from work, overwhelming medical bills, and anything else he might need during this difficult journey. It also helps keep his loved ones close to him while he heals.
