Gary Heath, my son-in-law, has always been a caring and hardworking person, devoted to his family and friends. Recently, our world was turned upside down when Gary was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC). The cancer has spread to his bones and lymph nodes, making it inoperable. He is now preparing to start radiation and chemotherapy, and will be receiving palliative care at home to help manage his pain and symptoms. Despite strong pain medications, Gary continues to struggle with significant discomfort every day.
This diagnosis has been incredibly hard on Gary and his wife, Mandy. Gary has been unable to work for a long time due to his illness, and Mandy is working both a full-time and a part-time job to try to keep up with their expenses. The financial strain of medical bills, treatments, and daily living costs has become overwhelming for them. Our family is doing everything we can to support them, but we know we can’t do it alone.
We are reaching out to our community for help. Any assistance you can provide will go directly toward Gary’s medical bills and daily living expenses, allowing him to focus on his treatment and comfort at home. Please keep Gary, Mandy, and our entire family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness and support mean more to us than words can express.
