On January 19, while visiting New Brunswick, my brother Gary was involved in a freak snowmobile accident which involved severe head trauma and he remains in a coma to this day at Moncton ICU neurology division.
The financial domino effect of this tragic event has family and friends grasping at a multitude of mounting costs.
His common law spouse, Teresa has been at his side since the accident and has to relinquish her job in Ontario where they both reside. Daily accomadation, travel and food costs for Teresa have been supplemented with a few donations from family and friends, however cost is exceeding contributions.
When stable enough, Gary will be airlifted to Toronto, Ontario and that will incur more associated costs.
The foreseeable future of Gary returning to work is dismal to say the least, hence little to no income, as well care costs will continue on a regular basis.
Teresa will eventually need to get back to Ontario once Gary is stable enough to be transported to Toronto.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
