Support for Gage Krause

On July 10, Alan Krause was taken off life support after fighting for his life all week in the Neuro ICU at Ben Taub Hospital. He passed away just 3 days after his son Gage’s 11th birthday. 

Alan was an incredibly talented tattoo artist and was loved by any and everyone who’d crossed paths with him. Unfortunately, as a tattoo artist, life insurance isn’t a standard and Gage will not receive any survivors benefits from Social Security on behalf of his dad. 

Gage is an incredible young man and has already been through more trauma and heartbreak than anyone should have to experience. Just 3 years ago, Gage lost his best friend when his Grandma, Alan’s mom, suddenly passed away. 

We have been overwhelmed with how many of you have reached out asking how you can help, and this is the best way we know how. Gage was the light of Alan’s life. The proceeds raised from this fundraiser will go towards the costs for services / cremation, and Gage and his future.
