On December 31, our brother and sister, Gabriel and Alexis unexpectedly and tragically lost their oldest son, Emery Matthias McDade. Emery would have turned two years old on February 5th. He is deeply loved and missed by his Mother, Father, his little two month old brother, Bellamy, his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends who claimed those titles.

Emery had an incredibly rare and dangerous genetic disease, a LPIN-1 gene mutation associated with Acute Recurrent Rhabdomyolysis. This was tested for and found in baby Emery just this past October.

We are requesting donations for loss of wages during Gabriel and Alexis’s time off work to appropriately grieve, to provide financial relief for house bills, medical bills, care for their newborn Bellamy, and anything those three may need.

Please keep Gabriel, Alexis, Bellamy and the rest of our family in your prayers. This is a hard time to comprehend, let alone navigate.
