Support for Gabby's family

In early April, Gabby Roberts-Hendy’s younger brother, Colin, suffered a near-fatal car accident.  After an initially discouraging prognosis, we are glad to report that he was recently released from his care facility to continue his recovery at home.  Throughout this difficult ordeal, Gabby has unfailingly tended to her SAIS responsibilities, splitting her time between the office and the hospital/rehab facility, often spending the night in her brother’s room to relieve other family members.  We are reaching out to SAIS colleagues to help raise funds to support her family, as Colin’s recovery process continues. Our hope is not only to ease some of the financial burden resulting from this unfortunate event, but also to demonstrate our appreciation for Gabby’s dedication and commitment to the school, even in the face of adversity.
