My son struggled with mental illness, and our family did everything we could to get him the help he needed. When we reached out to the KCKPD police department for support, we were met with tragedy instead of compassion. My son was shot and killed, and now our family is left with a painful memory that will never fade from our home or our hearts.

He was deeply loved by his family and by others who knew him. We want people to remember that demon spirits are real and strong, and I always told my son he could not fight them alone—only with God's power. Losing him has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled, but we hold on to the love we shared and the memories we made together.
