My mother was a mom to everyone she met. She was married to my dad for 36 years, raised three sons, and was a loving grandmother to two grandchildren. She was the heart of our family, always putting others before herself and offering kindness to anyone who crossed her path. Even while fighting her own battle with COPD, she continued to support and care for those around her.

Recently, her oxygen levels dropped unexpectedly, and she passed away in the hospital. Her loss was sudden and heartbreaking for all of us. Unfortunately, she didn’t have life insurance and wasn’t eligible for state aid. My dad is disabled, and none of us siblings have the funds to cover the expenses that have come up. We are facing cremation costs, medical bills, and the challenge of helping my dad with everyday expenses as he adjusts to life without her.
