My father passed away recently after suffering multiple strokes and developing cancer towards the end of his life. Although the doctors could not safely perform testing for cancer, they were 99% certain based on his blood work. It was a difficult and uncertain time for our family, and we are still coming to terms with his loss.
My mother is currently unable to work because she is the primary caregiver for her own mother. This has left us without the funds needed to pay for my dad’s funeral expenses. My father was the one who always took care of everything for our family, and now my mom is facing these challenges on her own. I am moving closer to help her through this rough time, and together we are slowly learning and rebuilding our lives.
Any amount would help us in this tough time. My dad was a beloved member of the Riverpark community for almost 30 years. He had a deep love for electronics, photography, animals, and life itself. He could be stubborn and sometimes a little blunt, but he truly loved and appreciated everyone in his life. He took thousands of photos of the community’s dogs at the river, and also many pictures of local events including old baseball games from before 2010 and soccer games in the neighborhood, pictures from Caleb including some of the fall festivals and bookfairs, and just a handful of wonderful memories. He loved this neighborhood. Thank you for any support you can give to help us honor his memory and get through this difficult period.
