On May 22, 2026, our lives changed forever when we lost my little brother, Gaige Brown, to a senseless act of violence. Gaige was only 14 years old. Gaige was a bright, lively boy who could light up any room he walked into. He spread joy, laughter, and positivity everywhere he went. More than anything, he was an amazing kid with a good heart who was truly trying to turn his life around and move toward a better future. He had so much life ahead of him, and our family is devastated that his future was stolen from him so soon.

He leaves behind a single father, a host of siblings, and a large family and community struggling to cope with this unimaginable loss. My father has always done everything he can to provide for our family, but during this heartbreaking time, we are asking for help. We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as bills and other needs for my dad while he grieves his son. This support will ease some of the financial burden on our family as we try to lay Gaige to rest with the love and dignity he deserves.
