Dear Family and Friends..

On March 10, my life changed forever. I will never forget the phone call with my mom that confirmed that my dad was gone. I really don’t have the words for the loss of my father. He was the only man in my life and one of the most important things to me. He and my mom would have been married for 50 years this November. My mom stood by his side until the day he was gone, he was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather.

I was hesitant to set this go fund me up, it did not feel right to ask for help to lay my dad to rest. Our family has always been private and I know my dad would not want me to ask for help. However, as the hours and days start to pass the financial burden of funeral services, medical bills and related expenses are overwhelming for our family. We were not prepared for this, mentally or financially. As we navigate through this painful loss, we are reaching out for support to help cover the unexpected expenses associated with his passing. We are seeking your generosity to help ease this burden and allow us the space to grieve without the added stress of financial worry.

My dad was so generous, he spent years supporting the community, donating his time and labor. He supported so many of you, bought countless meals and helped wherever he could. For those of you that were fortunate enough to be on the other end of the these gifts, now is the time you can return the favor. My dad brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched.
