Honor Loving Father Saul Soto: Support for Funeral & Medical

Donation protected
My Dad is and will always be the most hardest working man I know. From the time he immigrated from Mexico in 1982, he held every type of job you could think of; there was never a time I remember where he didn’t wake up at 5:30 am everyday in order to take care of his family. He always made sure that my siblings and I always had a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs, even if he had to work long hours or juggle two jobs in order to do so. He had just celebrated his 60th birthday and was still full of life and laughter like never before. When he wasn’t busy working or fixing things around the house, he loved listening to music, watching soccer games and taking us to car shows and meetups.

Back in 2012, my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo two surgeries and chemotherapy in order to save his life. His recovery was long and hard, but he managed to hold on and survive for his loved ones. He was strong as a bull, even getting rid of some hernias in 2018 from working so hard didn’t stop him. Unfortunately, my dad had a tumor that had grown in mass and filled up his left lung; he was only breathing out of his right lung for the longest time. He had gotten so pale and skinny by the time he was admitted into the hospital. I never left his side, but even during his time at the hospital he never lost his sense of humor and still had a smile on his face. After fighting for his life for 2 days in the hospital, he passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, Oct 23rd, 2024 at 12:30 pm.

His passing was very sudden, and he left this Earth much too soon because he still had so much to give. We lost our loved one; he was the glue that held our family together. Any donations to help his family’s difficult financial situation with medical bills and funeral arrangements will be appreciated.

To my father:
Dad, you are and will always be my hero. You were always there to make me laugh and cheer me up when I needed you. You always put others above yourself and never let anyone down. I just wish you had more time so I could have hugged you more and told you that I love you. I really appreciate the time God gave you on this Earth and I know you’re in a better place with Grandma and Grandpa and your brother in heaven.

I love you Dad, I hope we’ll meet again one day.
