January 3, 2026, was the day that changed my family's life. My beautiful, sweet mother suddenly departed this world, leaving my little sister and I to travel life's journey on our own. We are indeed heartbroken and confused all at the same time.

Our mother had the kindest heart and would do anything for those she loved--and sometimes even strangers. Due to our mother suddenly leaving us, we did not have the opportunity to properly prepare for her passing. It is now my responsibility to care for my little sister, who happens to suffer from several developmental disabilities. It will take time and funding to start the process of our new normal. We are asking those who are able and willing to help with our immediate needs, such as funeral arrangements and household expenses. I will be unable to work until I establish a plan of care for my sister while I am at work. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
