On Monday, January 19th a house fire broke out in the apartment of my three close friends. The building sustained severe structural damage and is uninhabitable. We are so grateful that everyone made it out safely without injury.
Sam, Radek, and Michal are facing the challenge of finding a new place to live, while dealing with the costs and time involved in salvaging what little remains. Two of their bedrooms were reduced to rubble and soot, and everyday essentials like clothing, winter jackets, mattresses, and other household goods will need to be replaced.
I am reaching out for community support to help deliver my three friends to safe, new housing and relieve some of the financial burdens associated with rebuilding and finding comfort again.
