We've started this campaign for our beloved community member, Jorge, a husband and father of two school aged children who was suddenly taken by ICE on Friday May 29. He is a devoted father and husband, hardworking supporter of his family, and a longtime member of the Frederick community. Jorge has been detained and imprisoned in Baltimore by ICE, leaving Jorge's wife Idalia behind to support their two children without Jorge, who was the primary source of income. This sudden loss has not only caused anguish for the family, but also tremendous financial stress as they struggle to make ends meet.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering essential expenses such as rent, groceries, and utilities. Additionally, support will be used to assist with legal representation, giving the family hope as they navigate this difficult situation. Every dollar will make a meaningful difference in their lives, helping them stay together and maintain stability during an uncertain time.
