Frederick Bryant Sr. was a proud graduate of Norwich Free Academy’s class of 1969 and served honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he dedicated nearly three decades to the oil industry in southeastern Connecticut, working his way up from a driver to general manager. Frederick was a loving father, husband, and mentor, known for his honesty and his unique blend of companionship and independence. His passion for motorcycle riding with friends and family was a constant in his life, even as he joked about his goal of being a grumpy hermit. The outpouring of condolences from friends, family, and colleagues after his passing is a testament to how deeply he was loved and respected.
In recent years, Frederick’s health declined, making it difficult for him to keep up with his finances. With no will found, the process of administering his estate has become especially challenging for his sons. I am the primary administrator for the estate and the GoFundMe account, while my brother is focused on supporting our mother, who is currently hospitalized. We are facing a number of immediate expenses, including cremation costs, legal fees for the probate lawyer, insurance for Frederick’s home, lot rental fees, and utilities that must be paid monthly until probate is finalized. These financial burdens have made an already difficult time even more overwhelming for our family.
We are asking for support to help us manage these urgent expenses and navigate this tough transition. Any contribution will go directly toward covering the costs associated with Frederick’s estate and ensuring our family can focus on honoring his memory and caring for each other. Thank you for considering a donation and for helping us through this challenging period.
