On April 13th, 2026, just three years and one day after our mother’s passing, my brother Freddie Parks died unexpectedly. There was no warning, no cause, and no health issues leading up to his death. Our family is still grieving the loss of our mother, as well as our sister, who passed away just three months after our mother. The shock and pain of losing Freddie so suddenly has been overwhelming for our family, especially as we continue to mourn the loss of our loved ones. Unfortunately, Freddie did not have burial insurance, and we are now facing the difficult task of arranging his funeral and burial without the financial resources we need.
Freddie was a man of God, deeply committed to his faith and his community. He was also a proud and active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, always supporting his brothers and those around him. We want to honor his memory with a proper funeral and burial, but we cannot do this alone. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering funeral expenses and burial arrangements, helping us give him the farewell he deserves.
Any kind of support is deeply appreciated, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser with others. Your kindness and generosity will help our family through this incredibly difficult time, and we are grateful for every bit of help. Thank you for standing with us and for keeping Freddie’s memory alive.
