Support for Fred Bowers and Family

Our beloved friend, teammate, and mentor Fred Bowers has been battling complications from COVID for a few weeks now. As of last Saturday, Fred has been non-responsive and the heart wrenching decision has been made to discontinue life support this Saturday. All of the money raised here will go directly to his loving husband to help with medical bills and the funeral and burial costs.

I know I speak for us all when I say to know Fred is to know unwavering love and support. Over his 35 years working for DaVita, he impacted countless lives in the most positive of ways. I have seen Fred very literally give one of our homeless patients the shirt off his back. Fred is a helper and a doer - never expecting anything in return, other than your gratitude. We love you Fred. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your loving family and friends during this heartbreaking time.
