Support for Fred Berry's Family

In no universe did I ever imagine I would be creating a GoFundMe page. On May 5, 2020, my brother, Fred Berry passed away suddenly at his home. Unfortunately, this couldn’t come at a worse time with COVID-19 setting barriers. As I begin my journey working on the legal aspects of this process, I’m finding that I am needing help with unexpected expenses and the daily expenses for his fiancée Katie O'Neil and his children Elizabeth and Brittany and his stepdaughter Ashley to keep the household running and future expenses for his daughters.

Many friends and family members have already pledged support directly to the family. We have had many requests from friends and extended family looking to offer their love and support. This gave me the courage to create this page. The monies will go to alleviate the financial burden that comes with the sudden passing of a loved one and to provide support to his fiancée and children through these deeply troubling times.

I know it would break Fred‘s heart to know we were in this situation. He would be so stressed out and embarrassed that I am asking for help. I keep telling him I will get through this and I will take care of everything.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Fred, you know what a wonderful man he was. Fred is one of a kind. He’s a great father, fiancé, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend. He’ s a true family man. His life was devoted to his girls first and foremost. Fred has a great sense of humor, a gentle soul and a kind heart. If you knew Fred, you loved Fred.

The funds will be used to provide any immediate and future assistance for Katie,  Fred's children and legal fees.
