This GoFundMe is for our father, Francisco Mata, a man who has always been an example of joy, kindness, and service to everyone around him. Recently, after a long and difficult process of medical exams, Francisco was diagnosed with high-risk prostate adenocarcinoma (Gleason 9). As a family, we have faced the initial medical expenses with all our effort, but the journey ahead is complex and costly.

To help our father overcome this illness, he must begin intensive treatment as soon as possible, including radiotherapy sessions, hormone injections, and specialized medications. Francisco is a present father, an exceptional friend, and a man who deserves the opportunity to continue sharing his light with us. We do not want financial obstacles to stand in the way of his healing.
