Four people were in a serious car accident, and since that moment nothing has been normal. I’ve watched them endure physical pain, emotional shock, and the exhaustion that comes with spending endless hours in hospital rooms, sleeping in hotels nearby, and trying to hold it together far from home. It’s been heartbreaking to see how much this has taken out of them, not just physically but mentally. Recovery isn’t just about healing injuries, it’s about surviving the trauma, the stress, and the overwhelming disruption to their lives. If you’re able to help in any way, whether by donating or sharing, it truly means more than I can explain. Every bit of support helps lift some of the weight so they can focus on healing and getting back to themselves.

Vehicle 1, an unoccupied 2024 chevy Blazer, was parked in the middle of the passing lane on highway 55 on the other side of an overpass hill. The driver and passenger of vehicle 1 were standing on the side of the highway when vehicle 2, a 2021 Toyota Corolla, was passing a semi truck while coming over the hill with no visibility of the other side. Once vehicle 2 gained visibility there was no time to get over in the right lane with the semi truck next to them and they could not cross the median into oncoming traffic of the other side of the highway. Vehicle 2 then struck the unoccupied Blazer at 74 mph. The driver of vehicle 2 was not distracted, or on their phone, they simply could not react in time as they could not see vehicle 1 until over the hill. The blazer was seen at full fault for the accident. Far from the victims hometown of Columbia, MO on January 9th, 2026 two of the victims in vehicle 2 were life flighted and have remained in the hospital since with numerous injuries and plans of medical action piling up in Memphis, TN.
