Support for Food in Mumbai India during Covid 19
Dear friends, my name is Hetvi Parekh and I am a resident of Nottingham. My hometown is Mumbai and I have my family and friends who still live there.
I get updates every day about the horrificbattle that people in Mumbai have to face. There is lack of hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and medications.
The people who are most impacted are the ones who live on daily wages and absolute poverty.
I have teamed up with Life Save Foundation www.lifesavefoundation.org who are currently working in the frontline amongst some dangerous conditions to ensure
That food supplies reach the poor people
They deliver dry ration kits to daily wagers families who are currently jobless in different parts of slums in Dharavi,Matunga,Jogeshwari,Lower Parel,Prabhadevi,Worli&Kurla tardeo ,kanda wadi
They are running short of funds to meet the needs of all and I would like to request you to come forward and support them.
They will be able to provide good accountability of where the money is spent and fiven that my mum still lives in Mumbai, she can ensure that the funds are spent in the right manner.
You can feed as many families as you can.Any amount will be appreciated. The breakdown is below:
1 family - £12
5 familes - £60
11 familes - £130
25 familes - £300
35 familes - £420
51 familes- £610
100 familes - £1200
I will be grateful for your support to feeds minimum of 100 families. Please help me raise funds for a worthy cause.
