My father, Floyd Whitfield, was a good man with real energy and nothing but good vibes. He was an old G — the kind that stood on respect and made sure people felt it every time he stepped in the room. If you knew Floyd, then you knew “Thug” was official — not about playing games, but about loyalty, respect, and being solid no matter what. He was the type to keep it real with you at all times, make you laugh when you needed it most, and give you that real advice whether you wanted to hear it or not. He had a presence that couldn’t be ignored and a spirit that touched a lot of people in his own way. Floyd believed in respect first, and he lived by that. He looked out for his people, stayed true to himself, and never switched up. His love, his energy, and the way he carried himself is something we will always hold onto. Losing him leaves a hole in our hearts that can’t be filled. He was family, a friend, and a real one to so many people. He taught us strength, how to stand tall, and how to stay solid no matter what life throws at you. His voice, his laugh, and his presence will truly be missed every single day.

Right now, our family is hurting and trying to come together to give him the proper farewell he deserves.
