Flo recently underwent a kidney transplant on February 13, 2026. She has had multiple additional surgeries related to her transplant and now faces another major surgery to remove her AV fistula. This journey has been incredibly challenging for both her and her family. She requires around the clock care as she recovers, and the road to healing is filled with many hurdles, such as her numerous copays for her anti-rejection medications and her medical equipment such as the wound vac she requires to heal properly. She is currently unable to work, and her employer does not offer short-term or long-term disability, leaving her without coverage for her additional expenses.
The funds raised will go directly toward covering her mounting medical bills, daily care needs, and essential living expenses. Every contribution will help ease the financial burden so she can focus on her recovery and well-being.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone taking a moment to read our story. This has been a challenging and emotional time for our family as she continues to recover from her kidney transplant and faces additional surgeries along the way. While we are thankful for the care she’s receiving, the financial strain of her medical bills, daily care, and living expenses has become overwhelming. If you’re able to support in any way—whether through a donation or simply sharing this page—it truly means more to us than we can express. And if you’re unable to give, your thoughts, prayers, and encouragement are just as appreciated. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for being part of our support system during this time.
