From the staff of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax:
"We were heartbroken to learn that our beloved colleague Flori Perez Diaz was killed on Mar. 2 by her husband, Vladimir Ralda, in a murder-suicide. Vladimir was also on staff at UUCF.
"Flori served as UUCF's custodian for more than 10 years. She was a vibrant, positive and caring co-worker and friend. We cherish and love her and will miss her terribly.
"We also mourn for their children, Lizbeth (Stephanie), 19, and Michael, 10. Stefanie's boyfriend, Nathanael Cooper, was also killed in the domestic dispute. Stephanie and Michael are currently living with their aunt.
Flori's family would like to bury Flori's and Vladimir's bodies in Guatemala. Please support this fund to help the children transport their parents' remains and to help the children with other expenses related to the loss of their parents.
The amount of this fund is an initial amount. Depending on the needs of the family, we may need to increase the GoFundMe amount.
UUCF will collect the funds on behalf of Stephanie and Michael and present checks to Stephanie as funds are needed.
