Support for Flandre

Donation protected
When walking back from dinner in Denver, our Transcarent team member, Flan, was unfortunately hit by a car. This GoFundMe is to support her and her family during a difficult recovery.

Flan's story is pasted below in her own words:

"Hi everyone, I think I just got back to all my messages, I do apologize if I missed anything, your support has been overwhelming and I cannot express how much they all mean to me. Thanks to everyone! Especially melinda.lesser who drove over to the ER and found me in the ER after spending the night sleeping in my own pool of blood, she really helped advocate for me when I was so busted up I couldn't do it for myself.

Also thanks to andrei.barta for coming out and getting me food ordered and the Uber eats vouchers, and thanks to Glen Tullman for flying my wife out from Georgia to Denver so she could be by my side. When I told the nurse what my company was doing for me she was shocked at how far and beyond everyone at my company was doing for me, so my greatest thanks to everyone so far!

For those that don't know, on Wednesday evening I went out to get some dinner, and on my way back, about a mile out from the hotel a car wasn't paying attention or something on the road and swerved into the pedestrian lane, and I was hit from behind from what I understand. I vaguely recall thinking I was dead, as I was in their windshield, and my body was twisted up and blood was everywhere and my brain was bleeding, and I then passed out. I had no recollection of what happened next but I regained consciousness in the ER where they had already cut my clothes off and had straighten up my body, relocated my joints, and put me into splints.

The EMTs told me they got the diver's info and he was given a ticket.
Since then I've been in and out of consciousness as they've been giving me medicine, and I finally went in for surgery this morning where they mainly had to reconstruct my left leg from what I understand, although they also had to do some other things to my hips and my right foot from what I understand.

My cognitive ability has been slowly recovering, they are saying my mind is coming back well so that is a huge relief to me, as of right now the world is a bit fuzzy to me. I think the brain bleeding is going down.
Thanks to everyone for their support, and I hope I can make a recovery."
