Help Needed for Fire Victims!

***Clean-up has begun and Jimbo needed to go get the crew that is going to help him. Since this involves the clean-up area I have been fundraising for, I gave him $120 for gas. That gives them a little over 33 gallons of gas in the tank.***

***Some groceries have been paid for, not a lot because I was told that is not needed at this point.***

"Arriving fire crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the third story of a large Victorian-style home. The fire appears to have started from a stove pipe that was being used as a chimney for a fireplace."

I am requesting assistance for Jamie, Jimbo, Jessica, and their pets, who have recently suffered a devastating loss due to a house fire. They are in urgent need of support, both financially and with day-to-day necessities, as they navigate this challenging time.

On the night of the incident, they lost their entire home and all their possessions. Unfortunately, they were unable to afford insurance, leaving them without a safety net to recover from this tragedy. Jamie, Jimbo, and Jessica are known for their generosity and willingness to help others, and now they find themselves in need of the same kindness they have always extended.

Any help you can provide, whether it be financial contributions, essential items for daily living, or other forms of support, would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity can make a significant difference in their lives as they work to rebuild from this setback.

The Night of the Fire

Three nights ago, on April 28th, 2024, the family was watching tv and became aware of an ominous crackling sound, a harrowing noise that seemed to emanate from within the walls between the bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Alarmed and confused, they searched for the source, only to discover a hidden inferno smoldering behind the plaster.

In a desperate attempt to assess the situation, Jimbo took matters into his own hands. With a heavy heart and a steady resolve, he knocked a hole in the wall, inadvertently feeding the concealed flames with a rush of oxygen. The fire, now unleashed, grew voraciously, consuming everything in its path.

The battle against the blaze was monumental. A total of 40 brave firefighters converged on the scene, fighting tirelessly to quell the flames. It was a Herculean effort that required the assistance of a boom truck, a testament to the severity of the fire. According to the fire department, an astounding 70,000 gallons of water were expended before the fire was finally subdued.
