Support for Firefighter Pomianowski

On July 14th 2018, our firefighter brother Steve Pomianowski suffered a near fatal heart attack. Steve was hospitalized for a month, fighting for his life against what at times seemed like insurmountable odds. In spite of the initial grim outlook, Steve fought and began to recover, eventually leading to his discharge from the hospital.

While Steve’s family is elated and beyond thankful for his return home, they are in need more than ever of assistance while Steve continues his long road to recovery. There is currently no timeline for Steve’s return to work and his wife and fellow firefighter, Dawn, is also unable to return to duty while she cares for Steve. This has and will continue to create a financial hardship for Steve, Dawn, and their four children.

We, his firefighter brothers and sisters, are asking for donations to assist the Pomianowski family in their time of need to help cover daily/weekly expenses. Our goal of $5,000 will help shoulder the financial load currently felt by the Pomianowski family and pull them through until Steve is well enough that Dawn may return to work. Any donation, no matter the amount, is a blessing and appreciated.
