It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tri-Town Fire Department

Firefighter 128 Corey Newton following an off-duty accident.

The accident occurred on the evening of Thursday, July 10th , 2025. Despite the swift efforts of first responders and medical personnel, Firefighter Newton succumbed to his injuries on Friday, July 11th , 2025. No information related to the accident will be released by the Tri-Town Fire Department. Firefighter Newton was just 24 years old. Known for his quiet strength, dedication, and big heart, Corey had served with the Tri-Town Fire Department since July 2, 2020, earning the admiration and respect of his fellow firefighters and the community he served.

Funds raised will go toward helping his family through the emotional and financial strain, any additional expenses related to his passing, and short-term financial relief.(e.g., rent, utilities, groceries).
