First, I want to thank anyone who is kind enough to show compassion during a difficult time.

I have been dealing with Crohn's since I was 22 years old. I am now 50, and at this stage in life, I have had multiple surgeries just to survive. I have been in the ICU 3 different times and have been told on two different occasions that I had 24 hours to live. I was able to battle through all of those difficult times, but now am scheduled for what may be the last surgery that my body can handle.

On March 20th of this year, my colon, which has been found to have precancerous tumors, will be removed. Another small portion of my small intestine will also be removed. This will be the last surgery that I can have in that area because I have already had a small portion removed back in 2007. I have already lost the majority of my large intestine, and the small portion that is left is what is precancerous and being taken out.

After almost 30 years of battling this disease and being in and out of hospitals each year since being diagnosed, the medical bills have added up. I want to be able to pay my debts but am coming up short with everything I try.

I do work full-time and do DoorDash just to make ends meet, so this is why I am reaching out to the community for help if possible.
