Hace unas semanas, a mi papá, Félix, le diagnosticaron con Carcinoma Hepatocelular Multifocal y es terminal. Ya es demasiado tarde para cualquier tratamiento, y con la ayuda de hospicio, lo estamos atendiendo lo mejor que podemos. Mi mamá se ha convertido en su cuidadora a tiempo completo; ella lo apoya incondicionalmente en todo, aunque, debido al estrés que ha afectado su salud, ella misma ha tenido que ser hospitalizada un par de veces en las últimas semanas. Ha sido una situación muy dura para todos nosotros. Estamos poniendo nuestra fe en Dios y en el apoyo de toda nuestra familia y amigos.

Mis hermanos y yo estamos haciendo todo lo que está a nuestro alcance, pero las dificultades económicas nos están superando y no podemos afrontar esto solos. Thank you for taking the time to read this; it is very hard to write this. A few weeks ago, my dad, Felix, was diagnosed with Multifocal Hepatocellular Carcinoma, and it is terminal. It is too late for any treatments, and with the help of hospice, we are caring for him the best we can. My mom has become his full-time carer, and she supports him through everything, and she herself has ended up in the hospital a few times these past couple of weeks due to the stress affecting her health. It has been hard on all of us. We are putting our faith in God and drawing our strength from all our family and friends.

 

My brothers and I are doing everything we can, but the finances are catching up to us, and we can’t do this alone. We are setting up this page to help lift some of the financial burden we are facing.
