Support for Fatima & Her Family During a Critical Time

Dear friends, neighbors, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out to ask for your support for a truly special mother, Fatima, and her young family as they navigate an incredibly difficult journey.

Fatima is the devoted mother of 9-year-old Eliana, a student in the PRIME program at Horace Mann Elementary. Two years ago, Fatima and her family moved to the United States to build a better life. Her husband is a dedicated fitness trainer, and Fatima herself was a personal trainer before her diagnosis.

In 2023, Fatima was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She bravely underwent aggressive treatment and fought hard to recover. Tragically, her cancer has since metastasized, and she is now facing Stage 4 cancer in her lymph nodes, throat, lungs, and muscles.

Despite numerous rounds of chemotherapy, Fatima’s battle continues. She recently underwent a two-week course of radioactive radiation treatment, which required complete isolation — even from her own daughter and husband — due to the dangerously high levels of radiation. Her doctors stressed that the treatment could not be delayed, leaving no time to secure financial support in advance. In order to pay for temporary housing during the treatment, Fatima and her husband were forced to stop paying their rent and other essential bills.

This heartbreaking reality has brought unimaginable challenges. With no family nearby in Los Angeles, and only a small circle of close friends, Fatima's husband is doing everything he can to care for Eliana work full-time, and manage the household, but they cannot do this alone.
