I’m raising funds for my father’s medical/travel expenses. He’s been fighting brain tumors since 2017 and has started having active seizures since 10-26-25. He’s currently in Peoria,IL and has been intubated and sedated since 10-30-25. He had to have a brain catheter put in to reduce the fluid that was accumulating from the tumors. He’s currently fighting, as we are for him. UPDATE: He came home December 30th 2025 still with a trach tube and feeding tube. We are still trying to raise funds for his medical expenses/supplies that are not covered by insurance. He is on 24 hour hospice care as of now but has made some improvement since he got home. My mother sister, and I do most of his care such as trach cleaning or changes, wound care cleaning and changes all of his physical therapy and range of motions. He also uses a Hoyer lift so that we can get them out of bed and put him in his chair. So far, the medicine he is taking has held his seizures at bay and they haven’t done anything to take care of his brain tumor yet because the doctors would like him to regain some more strength and hopefully in time be able to get the trach tube and feeding tube out. My family and I are currently working with my dad to get him stronger in hopes that he will be able to do a swallow test soon to move forward in the healing process and also so he is able for them to either do surgery or some type of chemotherapy for the tumor. Please help by donating any amount that will help towards medical expenses and travel if we get to that point.
