Support for Shahnaz and the Hemmat Doust family
Donation protected
Shahnaz Ghazali a refugee from Iran, arrived in Australia with her family: husband Reza, daughter Fatemeh and son Ali in 2012.
As refugees, the family has not been entitled to financial aid support throughout the pandemic, with the family relying on Fatemeh and Ali to support the family. Fatemeh has worked with Rail Projects Victoria since November 2018.
In late-2020 Shahnaz was diagnosed with cancer and commenced treatment immediately, with chemotherapy starting in February 2021.
Living amidst the global pandemic, uncertainty for what the future holds has been normal for a long time for the Hemmat Doust family and with Shahnaz’s illness taking an additional toll, we are asking for support in the form of donations to help ease the daily struggles that they face during these incredibly challenging times.
This campaign has been set up on behalf of Shahnaz and the family by Fatemeh’s colleagues at Rail Projects Victoria.
