My husband, Faron, has to have a series of three surgeries. This journey began a year ago when he was hospitalized and diagnosed with endocarditis on his artificial pulmonic valve. We are now on surgery number two, which was the biggest one—an open-heart surgery due to the infection on his pulmonic valve. While the surgery went well, his body is not cooperating, leading to a longer stay in the ICU.
When we complete this surgery, Faron will need help at home for a while, as well as having appointments that will require lost time at work for family to assist with. The final surgery is scheduled for May 26th, so we are hoping for a return to normalcy by mid-July. This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, both emotionally and financially. The extended hospital stay, ongoing treatments, and upcoming recovery have created unexpected expenses, and we are facing travel costs, lost wages, and other bills that are adding up quickly. We are doing everything we can to support Faron’s recovery, but we could use some extra help right now.
We understand times are hard for everyone right now, but if you could even share this, it would be greatly appreciated. Your kindness and support mean the world to us as we navigate this challenging journey. Thank you for considering helping our family during this time.
