On May 9th, 2025, I went in for a medical procedure related to my heart. After waking up groggy from the sedatives, I remember my wife leaving to pick up our kids from the bus. The next thing I knew, I was waking up on May 11th, surrounded by family members who had traveled from Mississippi to Georgia. It was then I learned that my heart had stopped, and the medical staff had performed compressions for about 20 minutes to revive me.

The experience was shocking, and I found myself in the hospital with tubes everywhere, trying to comprehend what had happened. I was released on May 18th, but my journey to recovery is far from over. I am currently attending numerous doctor appointments and receiving antibiotic infusions. My brain remains foggy, and I am wearing a defibrillator vest as a precaution. The uncertainty of when or if I can return to work is daunting, and I am taking each day as it comes.

With two children, ages 11 and 9, and a wife to support, the financial strain is overwhelming. We are struggling to cover essential living expenses such as food, electricity, gas, car insurance, and the kids' activities. Any financial support would greatly help us navigate this challenging time and provide some relief as I focus on recovery and follow the doctors' orders.
